Everything you need to know about me.. sorta

I'm Hope. I get a lot of poor jokes about my name, first time offenders get a pass though. I live on a farm, which has always been interesting, and a conversation starter. Putting myself through school has been imperative so i don't stay on the farm..  It's been interesting and challenging enough, although I can't be sure how much of the information I've retained thus far. I have grown as an artist however, which carries far more weight with me than anything else. I love learning about art, the history behind it, trying new mediums, and learning how to refine my skills and develop new ones. I love all that creative nonsense, from scrap-booking to arranging cold-cut platters for parties. (I know creative cold-cuts is pushing it, but i enjoy doing it, so its gotta count for something, right?)  I'm pretty terrified of the class this blog is for, but who knows maybe I'll fall in love with my digital arts class, we'll see. wish me luck.
